General information
Hewyn is required to comply with local regulations in each country governing the importing of approved items. This means that some items available on Hewyn may in fact be prohibited or restricted in some countries.
As government regulations are subject to change we recommend that you verify any local restrictions prior to placing your order. It is possible that restrictions are eased for items we were previously unable to ship to your country and vice versa.
After you place your order, we review the details to verify whether there are any prohibited items based on your location. In the event that there are, then we will cancel those that are prohibited in order to comply with the regulations. We will only do this if it is necessary, and you will receive a full refund for any items that we remove on these grounds.
Shipping
At Hewyn, we carefully ship all orders from our U.S. warehouses directly to your country via air freight.
While our estimated delivery times typically reflect standard shipping durations, please note that occasional delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, such as air freight disruptions, customs processing, or unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist you every step of the way.
Customs Information
Our assigned courier will complete the customs clearance on your behalf and arrange delivery to the address provided at the time placing the order.
In some countries the receiver may be obligated (by law or otherwise) to provide some form of input during the customs clearance process. Some examples of this are:

- Passport
- Proof of payment
- Medical approval / prescription
- Government / import approval
- Company registration / license
If/when this is necessary the courier will contact you when the shipment arrives in your country and inform you how to share the required information with them. Hewyn is unable to override these local regulations, thus we are unable to provide a refund if the delivery cannot be completed by the courier due these requirements.
